Our aim at Sarah Soup Kitchen is to help build a stable environment. A community where all areas are looked after and taken care of. Our weekly food schedule and annual events like "Happy Easter", "Our youth-our future", "Women's Day" and "Secret Santa" are what we thrive on.

From the community to the community
Sarah Soup Kitchen was founded in 2015. We are a registered NPO. Our goal back then was mainly to give a warm meal to the less fortunate but we quickly realized that there was so much more that needed to be done. Our youth, single parents, elderly and adults in abused homes also needed a place of safety, a hug and some kind words. We now try to give atleast two warm meals a week and something sweet on a Saturday. We feed almost 300 people on a day and feel immensely blessed at the end of each day.
OUR WEEKLY FOOD SCHEDULE
Helping The Community
On Tuesdays and Thursdays we are up early to prepare a warm come cooked meal for those who do not know where there next meal will come from. On warm days we try to give something cold and on cold days we will warm you up with some soup.
HAPPY EASTER 🐰
Sweetness brings smiles
Happy Easter is one of our annual events that truly brings happiness to our hearts. We try to give something sweet as well as a chocolate egg and a marshmallow to every child to comes.
OUR YOUTH-OUR FUTURE
One Step at a Time
On 16th June it is Youth day. And at Sarah Soup Kitchen we try and do something different every year. From doing a whole day filled with fun and games to doing some pampering by washing hair and doing nails. We also do motivational talks during these activities to try and build confident youth. To ensure that they know how to look after themselves physically and mentally.
WOMEN'S DAY
Strike a woman, strike a rock
An educated girl grows up to be a strong woman, a firm leader and a loving mother. On Woman's Day we try to build up our women in our community. We give a three course meal to the woman of all ages in our community. We have motivational speakers like pastors, woman who are leaders and mothers who come to speak on this day. We try to give each woman a "thank you for being you" gift, which contains all kinds of goodies.
SECRET SANTA 🎅
Dashing through the fun
For the last 5 years Secret Santa has been thee most fun and most memorable event of our Soup Kitchen. Kids from all over come and enjoy fun activities with water slides and jumping castles. We give every child a meal and end the day of by handing out up to 500 wrapped Christmas gifts. This is the time when the smiles go from ear to ear and their eyes lit up.
